Taking this opportunity to post a few things while we still have a connection (signals seem to fade in and out). It's now 11:30AM, Wed., in light rain.
We got underway around 4:30 this morning. First stop, still in the dark, was a logging camp. There we dropped off a pallet of oil, two fuel tanks which were then filled up, and a small motor home. A couple of the "workers" arrived mid-way through this stop in a Grady White. Brought back memories of one of my best little fishing boats. Matter of fact, one I used to fish in up here at this very location. Other than the two In the Grady White, a rather lonely deserted place, this stop. No one else around, at least at 6AM that was the case.
Next up was a private residential property. That was a primarily a garbage pickup stop. Then shortly thereafter was another residential stop with lumber to that location.
Wildlife seen thus far: A school of dolphins and large herd, if that's the proper term, of sea lions basking on the rocks. The captain pulled up close enough such that Rod said he could actually smell them. Sweet!
The galley bell just rang. Lunch is ready... and apparently Rod is too. I'll try to catch up
Internet connection status: Lost for now.

Later on in the evening: Failed to connect to the Internet this afternoon. Maybe tomorrow will bring a chance, at least a fleeting one to make this post.
Two more logging camp stops this afternoon. More fuel tanks along with two pickup trucks delivered to one with active logging taking place there. And a large bright red logging truck was off-loaded to another. Tied up to a log boom for the evening.
With any luck we'll have fresh prawns to eat tomorrow as as some prawn traps were set down during dinner tonight, prime rib with Yorkshire pudding. Excellent! I even ate the peas.
We get to sleep in tomorrow. Captain says, underway at 6:30AM
Mike
